What Does the Procedure Entail?

The procedure consists of several injections placed in the muscles that are the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet. General dentist training provides Dr. Andersen with vital knowledge about facial structure. This helps him know exactly where to administer the shots, and how much solution to give depending on the size and severity of the wrinkles.
After Dr. Andersen prepares the injection site, you’ll tense your face into a “scowl” to show which areas wrinkle the most. Dr. Andersen then slowly inserts small amounts of the solution under your skin. Pain is minimal, although temporary redness may occur in patients with sensitive skin.
